some of you are asking how I did my snow gif

Heres a shitty sketch I did beforehand to see if the theory could work with my cartoony style. I’ve only seen this kinda gif with photos so I thought cartoons might look a little derpy

It worked well enough, so I proceeded to do something nicer and cleaned up

Basically it’s one drawing tweaked into 2 unique frames. Slap some nice lineart up there, duplicate it, and then get to tweaking your duplicate. Set it up so you can turn your top layers visibility on and off like animating in a flipbook. Subtly push and pull certain areas of the lineart until it appears to be sliiiiightly rotating in a direction.

Looks cool with just two frames but you can also fudge a third in-between hybrid frame by laying one layer on top of the other and decreasing it’s opacity and then flattening them both.
